Breakwater Installation & Reinforcement
Our experienced commercial divers provide underwater installation and positioning support for breakwater construction and reinforcement projects. The work is carried out in accordance with the approved project, installation plan and required block arrangement.
Depending on the project, specially manufactured concrete blocks, tetrapods or other protective units are lowered into position and placed underwater according to the specified layout. Our divers assist with the controlled positioning, alignment and final placement of each unit to ensure the breakwater structure is completed in accordance with the project requirements.
Controlled Underwater Placement
Before placement begins, the underwater working area can be inspected to confirm seabed conditions and the required installation zone. During the operation, our divers coordinate with surface lifting equipment to guide each block into its designated position.
Where existing breakwater structures require reinforcement, additional blocks can be installed in damaged, displaced or exposed areas according to the prepared repair or reinforcement plan.
The entire operation is performed in coordination with the contractor, engineering team and surface crew, with underwater verification carried out during and after installation.
